Mathemartics 02:58
what if god was just like a number everywhere and nowhere and i am the x in the equation i solve for why Can I do something about a problem I can't figure out how bout i leave it to my calculator creator what if god was just like a spiral everywhere and nowhere layer on layer on layer of accidental meaning math distilled into art next thing I'm gonna do is follow that function through out of the atoms and into infinity a form that informs all the others and i am just a brushstroke of a number what if god was mathematics distilled into art what if God is mathemartics what what what

I'm in the laboratory Balanced on a chair Trying hard to measure The vibrations in the air Where old stories go When we speak them We catch fireflies in jars And poke holes in the lid To study and demystify The source of light within But where do stories go If we don't catch them? Old stories go like this They transform into myths They metamorphosize into metaphors That's how old stories go So let them go The characters in alphabets Catch characters like Zeus But words they tend to fossilize Beyond their proper use So how do stories go So beyond words Old stories go like this They transform into myths They metamorphosize into metaphors Old stories go like this They transform into myths They metamorphosize into metaphors I hope I go there too when I go Do do do do do do do do do Do do do do do do do do do My annotated journals Might need peer review To reevaluate Everything I ever knew Is this all stories then? Well, back to the lab again

Paper Work 04:05
Paper strewn across my desk like the scene of a crime Slicing up my fingertips one little battle at a time This template doesn't tell them what we all are really doing this for I don't want to see your papers I just want to see your face at my door I cannot make this paper work Filling in the boxes with the labels that I so despise I do not see the option for the feeling staring in your eyes Show qualifications no one cares that you are qualified for I don't want to see your papers I just want to see your face at my door Set fire to the paper work Fire to the paper work Fire fire Set fire to the paper work Whoa Fire to the paper work Fire fire Set fire Chasing three dimensions on the paper trail back to you I cannot wait until the day I wrap my arms around you Absence makes the heart rage like never before I don't want to see your papers I just want to see your face at my door Set fire Fire to the paper work Fire fire Set fire Show qualifications no one cares that you are qualified for I don't want to see your papers I just want to see your face at my door Set fire to the paper work Fire to the paper work Fire fire Fire to the paper work Fire to the paper work Mmmm Set fire to the paper work

Filthy Clean 04:01
Yesterday I sold my soul to the Nazi party And donated all the proceeds to the Salvation Army We’ll launder all our money in a laundry machine I know the money’s still dirty but at least the dirt is clean Yesterday I sold my soul to John D. Rockefeller Who was generous, but only if you’re A Standard Oil seller He had the most ungodly smile that I’ve ever seen So keep your hands filthy clean You know what I mean, yeah Yesterday I sold my soul to some crazy fucker And I managed to convince him it was me who played the sucker We’ll make those shady deals through the eyes of a vulture But if there were no sellouts, there’d be no pop culture And so my friends I hope you like this little allegory Because everybody loves a little rags-to-riches story Now you understand the meaning when I sing Keep your hands filthy clean You know what I mean, yeah You know what I mean, yeah

From the sound of my voice you can probably tell The new medication ain't working so well And the puppies on greeting cards saying "get well" I'll see them in hell Natural selection is awfully rude The universe plays spin the bottle with you But instead of a kiss you get royally screwed Well screw the universe too Please let me be ill, just for today I swear next time I will let you pray But let me be ill darling Just for today Humor me please And refuse to believe That I'm doing well in your peachy keen dreams In sickness, in health and in maddening screams Through all extremes Please let me be ill, just for today I swear next time I will let you pray But let me be ill darling We’re all made to be sick sometimes I was built to be ill If you can't accept that Then nobody will Visiting hours are suddenly through Do you want to help? Well here's what you do You love me for me and my illness too Or get out of my room Please let me be ill, just for today I swear next time I will let you pray But let me be ill darling Just for today Just for Just for Just for Just for today

May you feel your feelings and reach the other side all right I hope your darkest secret shows grace when you shine a light May you know your blessings off the top of your head And you mean every word you said And above all else Ask yourself What would love do now? May your inner demons be just a frightened child who needs affection I hope the unknown turns out so well, you couldn't have planned its perfection May your hiding places be warm And a thousand flowers bloom after the storm And above all else Ask yourself What would love do now? And when you need to protect something you adore May your anger be righteous yet so set on kindness You remember what you're fighting for Never lose your visions in the weeds And may they be strengthened by your deeds And above all else Ask yourself What would love do now? And when you behold the beautiful stars May it dawn on you how beautiful you are And above all else And above all else And above all else Ask yourself What would love do now?

Tamagotchi 05:07
you ever get this feeling you're a tamagotchi in the hands of some alien or maybe that’s just me i hope they take care of me and press all my buttons just right cuz i don't feel like wasting a life tonight he's not texting me back i'm just trying to understand if it's random circumstance or part of the program i swore i heard somebody call my name from outer space last night i just don't feel like being neglected tonight this all could be a simulation it would be an easier explanation to why i feel so robotic and needy Oh i know that i neglect myself sometimes and late at night I fantasize that someone takes care of me he's not gonna take care of me, is he? so i'm hoping and praying i'm a tamagotchi in the hands of some loving alien who adopts me i hope they take care of me and press all my buttons— he's not gonna take care of me, is he? praying i'm a tamagotchi
